About Military

What I can tell my parents I want to join the army?
I am currently a junior in high school and suddenly has an interest to join the army, specifically a Green Beret. I try to go to the U.S. Military Academy at university research and rapid implementation. But my parents do not know about Me wanting to join the army. I need advice to help me move through this process. In addition, advice to enter the Academy would be great.
Try "Mom, Dad, I will ask at West Point, I want to join the army." That should work to let them know. Application and enter West Point are two different things. Contact your school guidance counselors and that can give you specific guidance on the requirements to be met. You will need a referral from your MP and I am sure there are additional ones, meaning above the normal university, with the requirements. The board should wait before your diploma and say that you not have to go into combat know where did that information. Army officers and they all have degrees going into battle with the troops they lead. If you can not enter the USMA and then click on the burden of reserve training program (ROTC) in universities that interest you and apply for a grant through this program. So recruiters have little to do with the officers and recruiting officers, may be given some basic information and let you talk to the Official Selection people (such as the Navy is not sure of the Army), but are not filling their quota with recruiters interested in recruiting people to go to spring training not spend four years enrolled in college and then join as an officer. However, try to talk then was recruited to join the training staff in a registered application program so be careful and use your mind until you want to do.
